Who do you feel is most at fault for the deaths of Romeo and Juliet and why? Romeo and Friar Lawrence
Why do you think it is Romeo’s fault for most of the deaths I think it is Romeo’s fault because he killed Tybalt. If he knew he wasn’t supposed to fight him then he shouldn’t have stepped in. That is what sent him to Manutua which was his fault and the reason why he didn’t know the full story about Juliet. He then also killed Paris when he came to Verona and killed himself when he saw Juliet which made Juliet also kill herself due to Romeo’s death
Why do you think it’s Friar’s fault for most of the deaths I think it’s Friar’s fault because he married the two in secret, gave Juliet an incredibly powerful potion to stop her from killing herself due to Paris to fake her own death, failed to deliver a very important letter to Romeo and abandoned Juliet when she needed him the most.
Why does Friar abandon Juliet – Juliet wakes up and he is afraid of consequences. So he wants to run away as he hears approaching and tries to get Juliet to come with but she does not and he still runs away.
Why is it bad that friar ran away if he was there the whole time hew would have seen Romeo and explained which would have stopped the death of the two lovers.
