Why does Macbeth have Macduff’s family and servants killed? | He knows that Macduff knows the truth and isn’t loyal so he wants to kill his family to show Macduff and anyone else what will happen if they betray Macbeth. |
Why is Malcom in England? | To protect himself from Macbeth, he doesn’t want to be killed. |
Why does Macduff travel to England? | He wants Malcom to come home and take the throne. He also wants Malcom and the king of England to build an army to defeat Macbeth. |
Why does Malcom test Macduff? | Malcom is worried that Macbeth sent Macduff to bring him back. He wants to make sure Macduff is being honest and is loyal to Scotland, not Macbeth. Malcom is not as trusting as Duncan and he is very honest about it. |
