It shows that his deep desires are that he wants to kill the king, he hopes that people can’t read him like a book. Apostrophe – talking to an inanimate object.
What advice does Lady Macbeth give Macbeth when he arrives home? She told Macbeth to be deceitful, duplicitous, hypocritical, and treacherous. So they can kill Duncan for Macbeth to become king.
Why won’t Macbeth take the daggers back to the scene of the crime? He couldn’t bear to look at the body he just murdered, since Duncan was a friend and Macbeth felt terrible

Macbeth killed the guards to keep them from protecting the King and serving as murder witnesses, and to blame them for his own crime. But he claimed to have done it out of raging, uncontrolled anger over their killing his King.

She incessantly rubs her hands together, trying to wash off imaginary spots of blood. The blood represents her guilt that she is unable to shake off. The doctor decides his best move is to not mention that he heard anything etc.
