At the beginning of Scene 2, for whom has Claudius sent? Rosencrantz and Guildenstern
Why has he sent them for? Ask them to spy on Hamlet
What news do Voltimand and Cornelius bring back to Norway? Fortinbras will not attack Denmark
What request does Norway make of Claudius ? Safe passage for his army thru Denmark to attack Poland
Why is humorously ironic about Polonius saying “Brevity is the soul of wit” He talks to much
What plan is formed to test Polonius hypothesis that Hamlet is made from rejected love? Hide behind a curtain while Hamlet and Ophelia are together in a room
Hamlet calls Polonius a “fishmonger”. Why? Because, he is pretending to be crazy

What causes Ham to exclaim “o, what a rouge and peasant slave am I” He hasn’t avenged his fathers death
What plan does Hamlet devise? Make a reenactment of his fathers death and will look at King Claudius the entire time
Why does Ham feel he must have evidence of Claudius guilt? Because the ghost could be a devil that trying to get Ham to do something wrong
