What happens to Giles Corey first? He is charged with contempt because he wont tell the court who told him about the Putnam’s.
What does Abigail do when suspicion that she might be pretending falls on her? Says that Mary Warren is sending a spirit on her.
What is the nature of Proctor’s sacrifice? What could it mean for all involved? When he tells the court about his affair with Abigail, his reputation is ruined. He is hoping it will get everyone convicted free because the court realizes Abigail is unholy.

How has Elizabeth changed since we first met her? She went from never lying, to lying to save her husband.
Why does Danforth bring Rebecca to hear Proctor’s confession? He hopes she will follow him and confess also.
After John confesses, what does Danforth want him to do? Sign it on paper to be posted on the church wall.
What is the significance of the quote “because it is my name!”? John screamed it when he was confessing because he did not want his reputation to be that badly damaged by posting his signature on the wall.
