Sequence of events in Romeo and Juliet

Act 1, Scene 1 1.A street fight breaks out between the Montagues and the Capulets2.Prince Escalus, the ruler of Verona, breaks up the fight and threatens death for future fighting. 3.Benvolio questions a sad Romeo and learns that the cause for Romeo’s sadness is his unrequited love for Rosaline.
Act 1, Scene 2 1. Count Paris asks Capulet for permission to marry Juliet; 2. Capulet suggests he wait two years because Juliet is only 13. He invites Paris to his party. 3. Capulet gives a servant the guest list and orders him to issue invitations, but the servant is unable to read the list and asks Romeo and Benvolio for help4. Seeing that Rosaline is on the guest list, Romeo and Benvolio decide to go too.
Act 1, Scene 3 1. Lady Capulet informs Juliet of Paris’ marriage proposal and praises him strongly.2. Juliet has not even thought of marriage, but she will consider Paris’ proposal if her parents wish it.
Act 1, Scene 4 1. Romeo and Benvolio plan to attend the Capulet’s costume party along with their friend Mercutio.2. Mercutio mocks Romeo with a speech about a dream-giving faery.
Act 1, Scene 5 1. Capulet welcomes Romeo and his friends to the party2. Romeo sees Juliet and is captivated by her beauty.3. The two meet and fall in love.
Act 2, Scene 1 1. Deeply in love, Romeo climbs over a wall and into the Capulets’ garden to speak with Juliet. 2. Benvolio and Mercutio do not know that Romeo has forgotten Rosaline.
Act 2, Scene 2 1. Juliet appears on her appears on her balcony and, thinking she is alone, and reveals her love for Romeo in a soliloquy2. Romeo stands below, listening and then speaks to her, revealing his love for her.
Act 2, Scene 3 1. Romeo tells Friar Lawrence of his new love for Juliet and asks that he marry them. 2. The Friar agrees to marry them, hoping that the marriage may end the feud between the two families.
Act 2, Scene 4 1. Mercutio and Benvolio meet the newly enthusiastic Romeo in the street.2. The nurse finds Romeo, and he gives her a message for Juliet “Meet me at Friar Lawrence’s cell this afternoon and we will there be married.”
Act 2, Scene 5 1. Juliet waits impatiently for the nurse to return2. Her impatience grows when the nurse returns but is slow to deliver Romeo’s message3. Finally, Juliet learns that if she wants to marry Romeo, she need only go to the Friar’s cell
Act 2, Scene 6 1. Juliet meets Romeo at Friar Lawrence’s cell. 2. They express their mutual love and leave with Friar Lawrence to be married.
Act 3, Scene 1 1. Tybalt attempts to provoke Romeo to a sword fight. 2. Having secretly married Tybalt’s cousin Juliet, Romeo is unwilling to fight a member of the Capulet family. 3. Mercutio takes up the challenge and duels Tybalt.4. Tybalt kills Mercutio and, in anger, Romeo kills Tybalt. 5. The Capulets demand that Romeo pay with his life, but the Prince banishes him from Verona
Act 3, Scene 2 1. Juliet learns of her cousin Tybalt’s death at the hands of Romeo 2. The nurse promises to bring Romeo to Juliet that night
Act 3, Scene 3 1. Learning of his banishment from Friar Lawrence, Romeo says that he prefers death to banishment and attempts suicide. 2. Friar Lawrence says that Romeo may spend the night with Juliet and leave for Mantua in the morning.
Act 3, Scene 4 Paris asks again for permission to marry Juliet and Capulet assures him that they will marry in three days.
Act 3, Scene 5 1. Having spent the night together, Romeo and Juliet wake at dawn, say goodbye and Romeo leaves for Mantua.2. Juliet’s mother enters her room and announces that Juliet must marry Paris3. When Juliet refuses, her father becomes enraged and threatens to throw her out in the street.4. Juliet ignores the Nurses’ advice to accept Paris as a better suitor and goes to Friar Lawrence for advice.
Act 4, Scene 1 1. Juliet arrives to speak with Friar Lawrence, but Paris is talking with him about the wedding.2. Juliet threatens suicide if Friar Lawrence can not save her from marrying Paris3. Friar Lawrence gives her a potion that will make her appear dead on the morning of the wedding4. He also promises to send a message to Romeo so that Romeo will be present when she awakens.
Act 4, Scene 2 1. Juliet returns from Friar Lawrence and pretends to be obedient to her father’s authority.2. Overjoyed, Capulet moves the wedding to the next day.
Act 4, Scene 3 Juliet sends her nurse away for the evening and drinks the potion that Friar Lawrence has given her.
Act 4, Scene 4 The Capulets and the Nurse stay up all night planning for the wedding and in the morning send for Juliet.
Act 4, Scene 5 1. The Nurse finds Juliet in a death-like trance and announces her death2. Friar Lawrence interrupts the mourning to make arrangements for the funeral3. The scene closes with wordplay between the Capulet’s servants and Paris’ musicians.
Act 5, Scene 1 1. Romeo’s man Balthasar arrives in Mantua with news of Juliet’s death. 2. Romeo buys poison so he can join Juliet in death in her burial chamber.
Act 5, Scene 2 1.Friar John enters with the letter he was given to deliver to Romeo and explains why he did not deliver it2. Friar Lawrence anxiously leaves for the Capulet tomb to be there when Juliet awakes.
Act 5, Scene 3 1. Paris visits the tomb and, when Romeo arrives challenges him to a duel2. Romeo and Paris fight and Paris is killed.3. Romeo takes the poison and dies.4. As Friar Lawrence enters the tomb Juliet awakens to find Romeo lying dead5. Friar Lawrence flees the tomb and Juliet kills herself with Romeo’s dagger.6. Soldiers arrive to find the bodies, followed by the Capulets, the Montagues and the Prince.7. Friar Lawrence reveals the secret marriage of Romeo and Juliet and the two families vow an end to their hostility
