Speaker: LodovicoAudience: Othello Othello was in Venice = was viewed as having eternal love for Desdemona so he or anyone in Venice would not have been able to believe that Othello actually had hit Desdemona “My lord, this would not be believed in Venice,Though I should swear I saw ‘t.”
Speaker: IagoAudience: CassioIago is lying about how Othello asks during the seizure (he is saying that if Cassio gets Othello to come out of the seizer he will act mad). He continues to claim that it hurts too much to look at her since he does not see any flaws in her. Speaker: Roderigo Audience: IagoEveryday Iago promises to help him get with Desdemona, but it seems to him it is not working. Roderigo begins to see that Iago is playing him and he no longer wants to be involved. “Every day thou daff’st me with some device, Iago, and rather, as it seems to me now, keep’st from me all conveniency than suppliest me with the least advantage of hope. I will indeed no longer endure it.”
