How does Crooks react to Lennie when he comes to visit? Why does he change his mind? Crooks eyes raised, he stiffened and a scowl came in his face. Changes his mind because to he is angry (segregated). Crooks has a smile on his face and he is lonely but welcomes the company.

Crooks family? They lived in California on a chicken ranch. Crooks had white friends but his father did not let him socialize with them. His father was worried about racism yang he had two brothers that he was close to.
What does Lennie tell Crooks, even though he shouldn’t have? Lennie tells Crooks that he’s going to have rabbits and buy a pice of land
What is Crooks first opinion of George and Lennie desire to get land? Crooks thinks that it is a crazy idea and that it will never happen.

Crooks says that a life without George would be catastrophic for Lennie. Lennie depends on George and Crooks says that he would be tied up like a dog to show Lennie how lonely life is. What does Curley’s wife say she could have done to Crooks? Said that she could accuse him of trying to rape her and then he would be lynched
What is the last thing Crooks says to Candy? Why does he change his mind? He says “member what I said about hoein and doin odd jobs.” He changes his mind because Curleys wife just attacked him.
