Duncan | King of Scotland. Virtuous and benevolent ruler. Malcolm’s father. Names Malcolm The Prince of Cumberland (the next King). Feels bad about killing the Thane of Cawdor. |
Captain | Enters Act 1 Scene 2 bleeding. Informs Duncan of what is going on in the ending war between the Scots and the Irish. |
